Winning Item

When Jac told me she is off on 13th/Dec and wanted to bring me to KL for jalan-jalan, I was so excited (could not recall when was the last I went KL, 3? 5 year? ago or more)

Finally the day arrived.
After having "Blunch" near her Condo, we proceed immediately to KL (avoiding the Sat's jam), parked her car at her office and we just walk across the street to Pavillion. Start our shopping spreed from the top, floor by floor down till around 3pm, having tea break at the Zen and continue 2nd section.

Drop by the famous The Loaf that I had long wanted to visit before go off. Both of us were so excited to see so many mini Cheese cake (about the smallest Ice-Cream paper cup size) they name it "U-hu-hu" @ RM2.80/each, without any hesitation, we both bought 1/2 dozen each and walk out happily. (Just imagine we both proudly walk out from a boutique and holding a branded hand bag in hand, Hahaha......jst day dreaming la!!)

my Winning Item

1/2 dozen U-hu-hu

Rock Croissant (RM4.00), Pistachio Roll (RM3.80),
Cereal Raisin (RM2.20), Danish - Mixed Nuts (RM4.90), Olive Stick (RM3.60)

1st come, 1 st serve

After received few calls from my loyal customers when I will start making cookies, then only I realized that CNY is coming.....

I had run around few "Ingredient Supply shop" at PJ/Shah Alam look for the most important ingredient "Almond", but all gave me the same answer "OUT of stock n could not confirm the arrival date". Anyhow, I will try my best to get as many as I could. Meanwhile you still could place your order, (email to me or call me directly). But it will be on "1st Come, 1st Serve" basis.

While searching for the ingredients, I saw "Green Pea's flour" on the shelve, I just bought a packet and give it a try and it turn out to be not bad oh!!! (anyway this is Not for Sales) Hahaha.....

"大头虾"

Recently, noticed myself a bit "大头虾 : Big Head Prawn - direct translate from Cantonese" to describe a person tat is very forgetful. Always misplaced things (even money oh!!!) So scary!! sign of aging ........?? or I should put the blame on the prawn??? (after my sister read this, she will not want to supply prawn to me any more).

The prawn was really BIG, each was about 25/26cm long (the photo might not give your the exact picture, just take out a ruler and measured, even my plate was too small for it) and I had 4x by myself. Hahaha!..... now u know how come my head so big.

and
I found this quick & easy way to cook the prawn

Grilled Prawn in Spicy Sauce

* Cut prawn lenghtwise, lightly sprinkle the cut side of prawn with salt & black pepper

* Heat Extra Virgin Olive oil in wok.

* Add in chopped garlic, chili padi and stir fry till aromatic
* Put in prawns and cover, cook for 2 - 3 minutes (under low heat)
* Life the lid and add in little wine or (Chinese cooking wine)
* Cover again and continue to cook for another 3 - 4 minutes (or till the gravy is almost dry)
* Sprinkle with ground black pepper.
