Fried Kam Heong Crab UDON Noodles


- Heat Oil, saute chopped Dry Prawn, Garlic & Onion till fragrant
- Add in Curry leaf, chopped Chilli Padi
- Add in (Curry Powder, Oyster Sauce, Soya, Sugar & Dark soya) to your taste
- Add in Crab, stir fry until well mixed
- Add in Cabbage
- Lastly, add in (Pre-blanched) UDON noodle, until well mixed.

Quaker Oat Muffin


All you need is just :-

2x : Egg
50g : Molasses sugar (or U can use Brown Sugar)
120g : Oil
100g : fresh Milk
1/2 tsp : Essence Vanilla
120g : All purpose Flour + 1 tsp Baking Powder (sifted)
100g : Quaker Oat

1) Beat egg and sugar till well, Add in oil
2) Add in Fresh Milk, follow by Essence Vanilla
3) Add in flour (Do not overmix)
4) Last, add in Quaker Oat
5) Spoon batter into muffin cups
6) Bake at 180C for 25-30 mins.

Pineapple Crumble

1 cup : Canned Pineapple, cut into cubes
250g : Plain Flour
2 tsp : Baking Powder
6 tbsp: Instant Oats
180g : Brown Sugar
200g : Cold Butter

- Divide pineapple cubes equally into four ramkins.
- In a mixing bowl, sift flour and baking powder
- Add oats and sugar. Mix well
- Add butter (cut into small pieces, then rub into mixture with your fingers until it resembles tough breadcrumbs)
- Top pineapple with the crumble mixture
- Bake in oven at 200C for 20-25 minx/ until the top turn golden brown.

Baked Mango Cheese Cake

200gm : Digestive Biscuits (crushed)
100gm : Butter (melted)

- Combine biscuits crumbs and butter, placed in a pan, press down to form a biscuits base.
- Baked at 180C for 10 minutes.

500gm : Philadelphia Cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup : Mango Yoghurt
220gm : Sugar
5X : Eggs
1X : Fresh Mango, cut into small cubes

- Bet cream cheese, Yoghurt and sugar until combined
- Add egg, one at a time
- Mix the Mango into the mixture and pour into the tin
- Place the baking pan into a larger tray and fill with about 3cm water
- Baked at 160C for about 55 minutes/till the top is slightly browned
- Use a butter knife to run around the rim of the cake to loosen it from the pan
- Allow to cool, and chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours before serve.

Yam & Pumpkin 西米露


- Steam Yam & Pumpkin
Add water and blend into juice

- Scald Sago in boiling water, until transparent.
Remove & rinse under cold water

- Pour (1) into pot, add sugar, sago and bring to boil.
(Optional : Stir in Coconut Milk)

Oreo Muffin


65gm : Butter
75gm : Sugar
1 : Egg
80ml : Fresh Milk
125gm : Super Fine Flour + 1tsp baking soda
4pcs : Oreo biscuits (remove the center cream) - crushed

Method :-
1) Combine Butter, Sugar and Little Salt in a mixing bowl, beat until well blended.
2) Add in Egg, follow by Milk, Essence Vanilla, Flour and last Oreo
3) Spoon batter into muffin cup (until three quaters full)
4) Bake at 170C for 25 minutes/untill well risen.

Banana Muffin

It has been more than A month didn't update my blog......
even occasionally some Tender coming in... but in actual I am not
really tat busy, just "Lazy".... (bad habit...) Mmmm... shouldn't find excuse any more, lets' move on...
not tat bad!! I still manage to come out this Muffin (with a cup of coffee) to cheer up the lazy Sunday afternoon!!

Banana Muffin

(A) Sift together :-
- Flour : 250gm
- Sugar : 100gm
- Baking Powder : 1 1/4tsp
- Baking Soda : 1/2tsp
- Salt : 1/8tsp

(B) Mix well :-
- Egg (Size A) : 1X
- Fresh Milk : 200ml
- Orange Skin : 2tsp
- Poppy Seed : 2tbsp
- Oil : 3tbsp

Banana : 2pcs - mash it
(Optional : Chocolate Chips)

Method :-
1) Add (B) into (A) and follow by the mash Banana & Chocolate Chips
2) Spoon batter into paper cup
3) Bake in preheated oven at 190C for 20-25 minutes.

Home Alone

last week, I was Home Alone, no cooking.... no driving.....

after 2 days, feel so lazy, better find something to do (or else will become lazy bone) and came out tis ..... "Chocolate Fudge Cake"

250gm : Cooking Chocolate (melted)
250gm : Butter
150gm : Castor Sugar
4pcs : Egg
125ml : Full Cream Milk
200gm : Self Raising Flour (add little bit of Baking Powder)

- Cream Butter & Castor Sugar till white and light.
- Add in egg (one at a time)
- Slowly add in Milk
- Followed by (melted) Cooking Chocolate
- Last, add in Self Raising Flour
- Bake at 150C for 40 - 45 minutes

No need to find any excuse to cook a Luxury Meal, "Just Do It!" when the feeling come.

Braised Assorted Mushroom with Abalone

Ingredients :-
Button Mushroon
Fresh Pin Mushroom
Carrot : Sliced
1 can : Abalone
& Green Veg of your choice

Garlic : Chopped
Ginger : Sliced

Method :-
- Heat up oil
- Sauted chopped Garlic & Ginger Until fragrant.
- Add in Mushroom, Carrot & stir well

- Add in seasoning and stir well
** 1 tbsp : Oyster Sauce
1/2tbsp : Soya Sauce
1/2tsp : Salt
1/2tsp : Sugar
a dash : Pepper

- Add Abalone and stir well
- Last, thicken with Corn flour water.

Once A Year


I always love Chinese tradition festival, during this time I get to enjoy the tradition food. Out of so many, one of them is “Rice Dumpling -粽子”

There are Variations of Rice Dumpling available, but I personally like “Nyonya Zong (娘惹粽)” - A specialty of Peranakan Cuisine.


Nyonya Dumpling

Filling :
1/2 kg : Mince Meat
10pcs : Dry Mushroom (soaked and diced)
1/2 packet : Candied Winter Melon (Toong Kwa Tong), diced
Dry Shrimp : chopped
10pcs : Garlic (chopped)
10pcs : Onion (chopped)

- Heat oil, fried Garlic & Onion till fragrance
- Add in chopped Dry Shrimp, Mushroom and Mince Meat, fried well.
- Add in Winter Melon Cube
- Add in spices according to your taste buds.
(Five Spice Powder, Coriander Powder, Chili Powder, Pepper, Salt, Sugar)

Rice :
1kg Glutinous Rice, soak overnight, drain well
Red bean : soak and cook till 80% soft.

- Heat cooking oil, fried chopped garlic till fragrance,
add in the Red Bean and Glutinous Rice, add sale to taste
- Upon finish folding all the rice
- Bring a large pot of water to boil (Add 1 tbsp of salt)
- Put in the dumplings and cook for at least 3 - 4 hours

** Water Level must over the dumpling
** Only boiling water can be added in during boiling time

Fried Potato Ball with Sardin Filling

Ingredients :-
3-4 medium size potato, peeled n cooked
1tbsp : Spring Onion (chopped)

Filling :-
1 small can : Sardin
(Mixed well with chopped onion, red chilli and lime juice)

Coating :-
1 egg (beaten), some breadcrumbs

1) Mash cooked Potatoes
Add in spring onion, salt, pepper and mix well

2) Wrap in filling and form into date shape
Dip into beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs

3) Heat-up oil for deep-frying
Deep fry until golden brown

4) Serve with Mayonnaise or Chili Sauce

Mix n Match....

This is the simplest dish I ever had. No cooking skill needed. Just mix and match whatever u like.
** forgot to buy celery, just add in the Alfafa tat remain in my fridge **

Tuna Salad Pasta

1) Boiled pasta according the packing instruction.
2) Just Mix all the ingredients of your choice with mayonnaise and chill well before serve.

(Tuna flakes - add a dash of pepper onto it, Raisin, Sweet Corn, Pineapple, Celery, Kidney Beans.... or any others )

Stock Clearance

I has been cooking chicken for the past few meals, (not due to "H1N1" flu) but
just to clear all the chicken and the can of "Clam" from CNY Hamper.

Winery Chicken and Baby Clam in clay Pot

Ingredients A :-
2 x chicken whole legs, cut into pieces
1 tbsp oil
8 slices ginger
1 tsp chopped garlic

Ingredients B :-
1/2 can : baby Clam, drained
2 stalks spring onion, cut into 3cm length

Seasoning :-
1 tbsp : Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp : Light Soya
2 tbsp : Shaoxing Wine
1/2 tsp : Salt
1 tsp : Sugar
a dash : Pepper
500ml : Water
1 tsp : CornFour

Method :-

1. Heat up 1tbsp oil in a clay pot,
saute sliced ginger and chopped garlic until fragrant
Add in chicken and stir-fry until aromatic.

2. Add in seasoning and bring to boil, and cook until the gravy is thickened.

3. Add in Ingredients (B) and stir well,
Add in a tbsp of ShaoXing Wine and serve.

Fried Chicken with Garlic Butter


Keeping Chicken thigh in freezer is the best way for any emergency used whenever out of food to cook.

Fried Chicken with Garlic Butter

Ingredients :-
2 x Chicken whole legs, cut into pieces
4 tbsp : Cornstarch

Seasoning :-
1tbsp : Light Soya sauce
1/2tsp : Salt
2tbsp : Water
a dash of Pepper

1) Marinate chicken with 1/2tsp sale and 1 egg for at least 10 mins.

2) Coat chicken with cornstarch and deep-fry in hot oil, until golden brown.
Dish out and drain

3) Melt butter, sauted chopped garlic until aromatic
Add in friend chicken and seasoning and stir-fry until well mixed.

Mothers Day...


I cooked this light dinner for myself on Mothers Day, and Thank You Shirlyn for the lovely Rose.

The "Fresh Mints Ice Lemon Tea" was the perfect drink for this burning season.









Thai Style Chicken Salad

Ingredients :-
4 skinless chicken breasts - slice into 2.5cm pieces

- Heat Oil in a pan and fry the chicken on medium high heat until it is cooked (Do not turn the chicken to often, so a nice, caramelised glazed is achieved)

Dipping Dressing :- (Mix Well)
2 small birds : Chili Padi, finely chopped
3cm cube : Fresh ginger, grated
3 x Lemongrass : Peeled and finely chopped
2tbsp Fresh Ming, chopped
4tbsp : Brown Sugar
3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
4tbsp : Thai Fish Sauce
Juice from 5 lemons

Childhood Favourite

This is one of my favourite food during my childhood. Due to the age gap between me and my sisters, most of the time, I will go to my 3rd Uncle's house and play with my cousins. I will stay there for food whenever my Aunt cook tis...


Asam Prawns

Ingredients :-
Prawns : trimmed and cleaned
3 tbsp asam paste : mixed with 150ml water & squeezed juice
1 tbsp garlic : chopped
1 onion : cut into rings

Seasoning :-
1 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp dark soya sauce.

Method :-
1. Heat up oil for deep frying, put in the prawn and deep fry until cooked.
2. Heat up 1 tbsp oil, saute the chopped garlic and onion until fragrant.
3. Add in asam juice, seasoning and bring to boil
4. Add in prawn s and mix well.

Craving....... of "Asam Laksa"

Out of sudden think of "Asam Laksa", but it will be too troublesome by spending half a day in the kitchen, after cooking one big pot but just eat 2 bowls.
See!!! I got this Quick n Easy way to solve my craving....




1) Heat Oil, fried Garlic, Small Onion and Dry Prawn till fragrant


2) Add in Tom Yam paste, continue to saut for a whole.
3) Add in"Laksa" noodle, stir well
4) Add in Big Onion, Lemon grass, Wild Ginger Flower bud (Bunga Kantan), Lime juice. (Optional : Polygonum Leave - Daun Kesom)


5) Adjust seasoning (salt & pepper) to taste.
6) Garnish with Cucumber, Pineapple or any vege of your choice.

Never know cooking curry can be so easy...















- Slice below ingredients :-

Small Onion,
Ginger,
Serai- Lemon Grass,
Bunga Kantang - Wild Ginger bud

** keep both Bunga Kantang and Lemon grass stem for later, smashed **


- Friend Slices ingredients together with curry leave till fragrant (use only half of the Bunga Kantang - Ginger buds)















- Add in Instant Curry Paste (any brand of your choice) together with the "Fish" curry powder (add 2 - 3 table spoon water to form a paste)

- Fried till oil separated.

- Pour in the Tamarind water (mix 1 - 2 table spoon of Tamarind Paste/Asam Jaya with 1 - 2 bowls of water, depend of how much of gravy you like) and bring to boil (now add in the quartered tomato, Kaffir Lime Leaves and the balance of Wild ginger bud stem, Lemon Grass stem)















- Add in Fish, Prawn or your choice

- Add Ladies Fingers, Long Beans, Brinjal

- Last add little salt and pepper to taste

















** Serve with white rice, white or toast bread **

So Boring!!!
